RIP Andrew Fedorchak

There was a summer when me and Bill were living in Oakland and skating Atwood a lot and Fedorchak was coming in and skating with us and Marco and Eli pretty regularly. What I remember most about the dude was how much energy he had and how much it rubbed off on the people around him. I've never really experienced anything like that. It was contagious and not in a cheesy "Oh man, life's so beautiful" bullshit way. The dude was just amped, like a human middle finger to anyone who didn't believe in him or his friends. We had a falling out, but I always enjoyed skating with that dude, and getting to hear his wild ass stories, like the time he pushed back to Marco's house through most of Oakland in nothing but his boxers the night after a house party.
You got to respect anyone who just goes for it that hard all the time.

Rest in peace.

I remember those nights in Oakland like they were yesterday. We used to skate the lot til 4am on the regular and it will always go down as some of the best memories of skating in my life. Andy was full of life and probably one of the only people that could get me so hype to skate. He will be missed. We should get a session going at the lot for old time sake sometime.
