things about making a skate video
1. The first couple months of a new project. Enthusiasm is high, ideas are fresh, and getting footage is easy.
2. The finished product. Putting in hundreds of hours with your friends to create something you’ll always look back on and realize just how much fucking fun you had.
3. Premieres are fun
4. Getting your scene on the map!

least favorite things about making a skate video
1. Stressing over skateboarding?
2. Not being motivated to film
3. Not being motivated to edit
4. Not being motivated in general

things about having brothers who skate
1. Not many lone sessions
2. Half the driving time
3. You can tell them that that trick sucked or don’t want to film them and they won’t get offended unlike your friends.
4. Is there four good reasons?

reasons Rebuilding Mexico is not on DVD
1. We don’t actually own a copy ourselves
2. “What’s Rebuilding Mexico?” (I don’t want to have to explain that to anyone)
3. Kickers were a huge part of our life
4. Loading docks were a huge part of our life

things about having a mini ramp
1. Best warm up spot ever
2. BBQ’s and ramp jams in the summer days
3. Skating and not having to ollie is something I am appreciating more and more
4. Neighborhood kids using it as some sort of jungle gym

reasons not to film someone
1. I’d rather be skating
2. “Film this for throwaway”. Not real big into documenting every trick you’ve ever done
3. If “I might get lucky” is uttered. Just let me know if or when you’re close
4. I’m hungry

memories from the Bolts and Buttah premiere
1. We found out there was no projector with 10 minutes till the premiere. Jerry Cooper miraculously pulls one out of thin air and we get it hooked up as people are rolling in. Thank you Jerry for everything.
2. Drew Windon facing backwards and cheering for things he was definitely not seeing. Drew had a great time.
3. Doug Plezia getting a well deserved nod on ONEUP
