south park.. helmets
Disregard what I said about helmets before. The days I have been to the South Park skatepark, cops drove past and didn't care that no one had helmets. Yesterday they came and kicked 70 kids out for not having a helmet. So it's a crap shoot like Boyce. Only time will tell when they start leaving shit locked up or doling out tickets to recoupe the million clams they spent on the fucking place (yet couldn't afford some lights).

I've been there twice...
Monday, 12-12:30, there were about 30ish people there, 0 helmets, a few with pads. (and two bikers with pegs! fuck!) A county truck drove by a few times but didn't stop.
Today (Thursday) I did a drive by around 12:15. A county cop was in front of me; he turned in as I drove by. There were 3-4 people there with no pads, no helmets on. I looped back around and saw that the cop had just turned in, did a loop, and came right back out.
The verdict: Fairly safe (so far) for no pads.......
Definitly right on the hit or miss. I was there tonight and an old county cop threatened to give sitations right at dark. He even brought back up if anyone gave him lip.
I only checked this park out once, within 10 minutes a south park cop came and stood at the gate. If anybody went past him without a helmet they were kicked out instantly or 100 fine. Meanwhile the cop was double parked... I probably won't go back to the park anyways, not good enough to risk 100 bucks.
