red bull framed contest

red bull is hosting a contest of sorts to showcase up and coming photographers as well as their subject matter: skateboarders. so if you're handy with a nikon or what have you, perhaps you could get a posse together

Here's the official release

Red Bull Framed: Pittsburgh

What:

You will have 48 hours to skate and photograph at 10 predetermined spots around the city
We will kick off at One Up Skateshop at 7 pm on Thursday, May 3rd
We will end at One Up Skateshop at 7pm on Saturday May 5th
Who:

One Up Skateshop
Head Board Shop
Blank Skates
Black Hole Skateshop
Anyone who has a camera and can look through a lens
Prizes:

The top photo from each spot will be selected by a panel of judges. These photos will be blown up to 2ft x 4ft and framed. These framed photos will make appearances around in the city in venues such as the shops, Firehouse Lounge, etc.
These top 10 photos will then be voted on by YOU the skaters and photographers for first, second, and third place. The only rule: You can’t vote for yourself.
Top prize: The photographer and skater of the top photo will be sent to NYC for a weekend to attend the Brooklyn Banks contest and Red Bull Manny Mania
Second and Third prize: The photographers and skaters of the second and third place photos will be taken to Woodward skate camp to have free reign to skate and photograph for a weekend.
Other: There will be various other shwag from 5boro, ZooYork, and DC shoes as well as an offer for membership at Pittsburgh Filmmakers.
Next Steps:

Show up at One Up Skateshop at 7pm on Thursday, May 3rd to pick up your attack briefcase containing your attack plans and equipment. One Up is located in Time Bomb clothing at 200 South Highland Ave., Pittsburgh in Shadyside.
